Scope note
Rebel movement formed by Joseph Kony in northern Uganda in 1987, incorporating remnants of Alice Lakwena's Holy Spirit Mobile Forces/Movement and Odong Latek's Uganda People's Democratic Army. By 2012 it had been reduced to a force of between 200 and 250 fighters, operating in northern Uganda, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic.
